About me

I come from Gliwice, where I grew up drawing on the resources of local culture and education. I obtained my higher education in law and administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice. My path then led me to Warsaw, where I gained my first professional experience. Soon after, personal curiosity brought me to Switzerland, where I have been living for over a decade. Here, I fell in love with the landscapes and people, and started a family.

Due to my passion for international commercial law, I decided to pursue postgraduate studies in this field. After completing my studies, I continued my academic work at the University of Zurich, which resulted in a doctorate in private international law. My academic journey not only provided me with a solid foundation of legal knowledge, but also enabled me to develop personally and motivated me to continuously improve my skills.

After completing my legal training at a renowned commercial law firm in Zurich and gaining valuable experience as an in-house legal advisor at a large insurance group, I decided to set up my own consulting firm. This allows me to better respond to the individual needs of my clients, advising them on legal and business matters and acting as an interpreter and translator. This decision is also an expression of my personal mission: to help people overcome legal and social challenges and achieve their goals.

Language as the key to understanding

Switzerland also inspired me to develop as a translator. Languages have always fascinated me, which is why I became a certified court interpreter in the canton of Zurich many years ago, specialising in both interpreting and translation. This qualification allows me to support people who find themselves in challenging legal or social situations. By translating complex issues into their native language, I make them understandable to everyone concerned. Translating legal and social issues into the native language is crucial for maintaining equal access to services and rights, which is a prerequisite for the functioning of a society based on the rule of law.

Building bridges between cultures and legal systems

The bond between my Polish roots and my Swiss homeland is deeply meaningful to me. It allows me to build a wide network of contacts in both countries and gain valuable insights from the diversity of legal cultures. This connection is one of the foundations of my advisory work. I believe that cultural and linguistic diversity has enormous potential to bring people together and facilitate mutual understanding.

My personal journey – from Poland to Switzerland – as well as my combination of legal expertise and translation experience, enable me to support clients in a holistic manner. I am an active lawyer, using my knowledge and many years of experience to provide professional advice and practical guidance.

At the same time, I am involved in promoting Polish culture and education in Switzerland by supporting the organisation of artistic and educational events. I am particularly committed to working for the local Polish community, for example through the FEMMES Tische initiative – meetings that aim to create a space for dialogue, mutual support and building bonds between women from different backgrounds.
